In my work I investigate the mechanisms of power as an accepted evil, and the deception and repression caused hereby. What is truth? How do you sell a lie as truth? How do you sell something ugly as beautiful?
Everyone forms their own subjective truth, influenced by propaganda tools such as mass media and social media. These subjective truths express themselves in fundamental theories, attitudes to life of political systems.
I am convinced that people can be seduced to believe anything.
By incorporating these political or social issues into my work and approaching these topics in a surreal way, I create new ways of thinking and looking at these issues, and invite people to express their own ideas and insights.

Boris is a neo-surrealist who, as a contemporary artist, continues the tradition of surrealism in the modern era. Generating art with artificial intelligence and André Breton’s automatic writing have a common basis: striving to lose control and exploring the creative possibilities of the subconscious. Automatic writing was an experimental technique that the leader of the surrealists Breton developed in the early 20th century to capture the spontaneous flow of thoughts and feelings without censorship or editing. Similar to automatic writing, generating art with artificial intelligence uses uncontrolled processes to create surprising, new ideas that can serve as the basis of an artwork.
